It has been one sopping wet spring here, and it looks like it might be a sopping wet summer, too. I’ll admit it, the rain is good. It helps the garden grow and saves money on the water bill (love my rain barrels, wish I had more!) But sunshine and warmth and heat are also good, and help the garden grow. We need both.
So I’m sending out a plea to the rain and sun gods – can’t you work something out? A trade? A couple days of rain for a week of sunshine? Pretty please? I have lots of sundresses to wear, and it’s already mid-June!
Well, if this wetness is going to continue, the least I can do is buy some cute rain gear.
