I’ve been making laundry detergent for a couple years now. It’s so easy to make, and I know exactly what’s in it. Not to mention how cheap it is. I haven’t done the math to work out how much it costs per load, but I buy one box of Borax and one box of Washing Soda per year (combined total of about $10), plus a ten pack of Ivory Soap about every five or six months (just over $3 per pack), so I’m guessing it costs pennies per load. It’s really bloody cheap.
