Even though we can’t have a goat in the city, we see no reason why that should stop us from having fresh goat cheese.
We ordered a kit . . .
We bought some goat milk . . . and voilà! A whole bowl full of fresh chevre.
Best eaten with baby cucumbers from the Farmers’ Market.
Unfortunately, in Saskatchewan, it is illegal to buy raw milk (stupid, stupid law), so we had to make do with some pasteurized goat milk from Dad’s Organic Market. It worked just fine, though. Yum.
I still want a goat. But I love living in the city. How do I make this work?

Too bad you live in the city. I have been wanting to get a goat so that I can always have a freshly mowed lawn…LOL, just kiddin’
That is an added bonus of having a goat. Although, you might end up with no grass!

It was delicious, and very easy. I can’t remember what website we ordered it from, but just Google “goat cheese kit” and I’m sure something will come up!
